The sixth great British modified car competition of the year lived up to its reputation as some of the fastest road legal cars ever battled it out for glory. Japanese, American and British cars slugged it out in the 1/4 mile drag, the handling circuit and the 1 mile top speed to lay claim to the title of "The fastest road legal car in Europe".

In an oasis of sunshine, Elvington Aerodrome was awash with front, rear and four wheel driver cars - Skylines, Evos, Subarus, Vipers and over a hundred of some of the fastes road cars ever built. With cars from 500bhp to 1500bhp, motoring mayhem was sure to be unleashed on the thousands of spectators.
After years of Skyline dominance, the Norris Evo conquered last year, but what about this year? Would the Skylines reclaim their crown, or would the Evos and Subarus continue their rise to the top?
